[THIS MODULE IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT, WATCH THIS SPACE FOR UPDATES].
This module is the fourth (4) out of 12 modules describing the methodology for slum upgrading developed through the PSUP. This module focusses on how to establish a multi-governance framework and institutional set up for enabling slum upgrading at country and city level. The module further presents the methodology to conduct the stakeholder mapping and analysis, key step in the PSUP methodology. This stakeholder mapping and analysis will ensure that stakeholders at all levels – national, city, and community - are well-represented and participate in the process of slum upgrading.
For effective slum upgrading, all stakeholders need to be involved in the design, implementation and monitoring of actions. The institutional set up for slum upgrading is relevant to stakeholders at community, city and national level as they all have a role to play in participatory slum upgrading.
